Welcome to Vision Homecall
Your Home Visiting Opticians
At Vision Homecall we pride ourselves on providing a professional and friendly eye care service to people who find it difficult to visit a high-street optician unaccompanied. If you have difficulty getting to a high street optician without assistance, you could be eligible for a free NHS sight test at home.
Easy 3-Step Process
REQUEST A HOME EYE TEST
You can request a home visit using the online form or by calling us on 0800 001 6399. We’ll take some details to ensure that you are eligible for a free home eye test and then arrange a convenient time to visit.
OPTICIAN PERFORMS YOUR EYE TEST AT HOME
Your optician will visit your home at a allocated time. They’ll ask about your eye care history and any problems you may be having. They’ll then conduct an eye test, using specialised equipment for use in the home. Then provide you the results in your eye sight prescription.
CHOOSE YOUR GLASSES FOR DELIVERY AT HOME
If your eye test indicates you need glasses, you can choose from our wide collection, with prices ranging from £45 to £169. If you qualify for NHS funding, this will significantly lower the cost of glasses, or you can choose a pair from the free selection.
We’ll deliver your new glasses within 3 weeks of our visit. You will also receive a written record of the outcome of your eye examination.
